The Festival d'été de Québec
Quebec's extraordinary summer event, The Festival d'été de Québec, was put together by several local artists and businessmen in 1968. The idea was to promote music by offering concerts in public places. By 1969, the festival had lined up some of Quebec’s stop stars and by 1971, the festival was officially recognized as the province's most major event.
