The most important thing at any child's Birthday Party is the cake. That scrumptious confection that will always bring "oohs" and "ahhs" as it enters the room graced with flickering candles or sizzling sparklers will always be the center of attention.

It is also fairly well known that having custom-made cakes created for your precious two-year old, or that solemn 10 year old can be a costly enterprise.

The good news is that creating your own custom cake is much easier than it looks. There are many brands of cake mix that will produce a tasty cake with little time or effort, and there are plenty of tasty flavours to please even the pickiest tot.
